This Is The New 2013 Honda Jazz Model
Fans of Honda Jazz, which probably a lot in Indonesia, can now enjoy the latest 2013 Honda Jazz model launched by the PT Honda Prospect Motor a couple of days ago. Apart from the more compact looks, there is also new variant available which will be cheaper and more affordable.
The new face lift for the RS version which is the top of the line includes a new hexagonal front grill complete with an RS badge, a more prominence head light with yellow turn signal light, new 16 inch alloy wheel, a sportier tailgate, and smoke rear combination lamp. What is missing is the Mugen badge, it is now only RS and that’s it.

On the inside the RS has a new audio system with 6.1 inch touch screen which compatible with iPod, iPhone, Blackberry, and the standard USB, DVD and CD.

The Audio for the S type is a 2 DIN new audio system and also compatible with all of the latest gadget and smartphones. It is simply amazing how the two cars can be so characteristically different only by modifying its exterior design.

The star of the show however is the Honda Jazz Type A. This is the new more affordable type without sacrificing performance and comfort ability of the car. While the rest of the Jazz family can be purchased for more than Rp 200 million, the Type A can be brought home for less than Rp 190 million.
Apart from the facelift and updating Audio technology, the rest of Honda Jazz is still the same old car that has been the most sold Honda Jazz in Indonesia. The new cheaper type is probably in response to other affordable cars like the Mitsubishi Mirage and Daihatsu Ayla/ Toyota Agya which started to get traction and threaten the Jazz dominance.

These 2013 Honda Jazz are still powered by the same 1.5 liter DOHC, 4 inline cylinders, 16 valve i-Vtec engines with Drive By Wire and Turbo Boost Resonator. The engine is capable of offering 12058 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,800 rpm. The Drive By Wire technology allows high precision in acceleration and fuel efficiency while the Turbo Boost resonator increases torque at low rpm and power at high rpm.
The dimensions are also the same, 3,900 mm long, 1,695 mm wide and 1,525 mm tall for the S and A type and 3,920 mm long, 1,695 mm wide and 1,525 mm tall for the RS type.

The cabin of the 2013 Honda Jazz has better visibility and also bigger thanks to the placement of its fuel tank in the middle of the chassis. This unique central fuel tank also acts as a stabilizer for the car when driving.
As for the safety the 2013 Honda Jazz has achieved 6 stars for passengers and its driver by Japan New Car Assessment Program after undertaking a series of crash test at the Honda Motor Real World crash test facility.
The car is available is a rather complete 8 color options which are Rally Red, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic, Cerulean Blue Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Midnight Blue Pearl, Fresh Lime Green Metallic and Brilliant White Pearl.
