After speculation about what the 2013 Honda CRV looks like here, PT Honda Prospect Motor the Honda Authorized dealer in Indonesia announced that The 2013 Honda CRV will be launched this September 2012 worldwide. As mentioned before, the 2013 Honda CRV, which is the fourth-generation of Honda CRV has a more roundy looks and gets a new grill emphasizing its SUV looks.

In Indonesia, the Honda CRV available in two type of engine, the 2 liter I-VTEC SOHC and 2.4 liter I-VTEC DOHC. The 2.4 liter DOHC i-VTEC engine type produces power of 190 PS at 7,000 rpm, an increase of 20 PS compared to the previous model with a torque of 22.6 kgm at 4,400 rpm while the 2.0 liter uses i-VTEC SOHC engine type with a maximum power of 155 PS at 6500 rpm, an increase of 5 PS than previous models, with a torque of 19.4 kgm at 4,300 rpm

2013 Honda CRV is also improved on its already excellent fuel efficiency compare to competitor in similar class. The EPA listed 8.1 km/liter rating for city driving, 11 km/liter for highway driving and 9.2 km/liter for combined which is better than the previous model had. Standard Eco Assist indicates to the driver when the vehicle is being operated in an efficient style via “green” visual cues surrounding the speedometer, and a selectable ECON Mode alters operating characteristics of the vehicle to support an efficient driving style.

The most pronounced changes for the exterior aside from the new grill are the rear light. The highly rigid unibody construction combines with lightweight suspension components, noise insulation and aerodynamic features including underbody covers and a rear spoiler to enhance quietness and ride quality.

2013 Honda CRV also feature an exterior Expanded-View Driver’s Mirror that adds an additional 5.5 degrees of visibility at the outer edge of the mirror’s field of view, which can assist the driver in detecting other vehicles or road conditions that they might not otherwise see in a conventional mirror.

The interior of the 2013 Honda CRV combines a sedan-like driving position with a slogan of “small on the outside, big on the inside”. The roomy 5-passenger seating layout provides plenty of space to stretch out, front and rear, and there’s abundant storage, including a large center console. The All New CRV is priced from Rp 359 million for type 2.0 L manual transmission, Rp 370 million for type 2.0 L automatic transmission and Rp 404 million for type 2.4 L automatic transmission.
