PT General Motor Indonesia the authorized dealer of Chevrolet brand completes their product lineup by introducing Chevrolet first double cabin pickup in Indonesia. The All New Chevrolet Colorado is available in three variants which are Extended Cab, Crew Cab LT and Crew Cab LTZ.

Following the success of the All-New Chevrolet Colorado in Thailand, PT General Motor Indonesia believes that The Chevrolet Colorado powered by the all-new Duramax turbo-diesel 2.5 liter will meet the needs of double cabin market in Indonesia, which includes mining, plantation, oil and gas, and transportation of goods and services industries which have shown a tremendous growth in Indonesia.

The All-New Chevrolet Colorado was developed in five continents over the past five years and has spent USD 2 billion developed by a team of engineers from GM Brazil. The car will be marketed in 60 countries around the world. The Asian version is a bit smaller than the models sold in the US.

All three variants of the Chevrolet Colorado available for Indonesia are powered by 2.5 L DOHC, 16 Valve, Common Rail Injection Turbocharger with Intercooler 4-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower and 258 lb feet of torque. This engine pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission, a part-time 4-wheel-drive system with Shift on Fly with Transfer Case Shield.

Apart from the dimension, there are not much different between the three variants. The 2.5 L Extended Cab versions are the smallest in the family with the dimension of 5,339 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,698 mm tall. The other two version, the 2.5L Crew Cab LT and LTZ has a dimension of 5,347 mm long, 1,882 mm wide and 1,781 mm tall.

Payload capacities range from 1,250-1,422 pounds, with maximum towing capacities at 1,900-6,000 pounds. Standard Colorado 2WD models offer impressive efficiency for fuel-conscious buyers and those who live in climates where a 4×4 truck simply isn’t needed. When it is, Colorado 4×4 models are available with Insta-Trac allowing to shift from 2WD to 4×4 with just the touch of a button.

On the road price for the All-new Chevrolet Colorado 2.5 L Extended Cab versions will start from Rp 265 million; double cabin /Crew Cab LT from Rp 323 million and double cabin / Crew Cab LTZ from Rp 343 million.
